Anti-wrinkle injections are often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure,” since most patients return directly to work or normal activity immediately. Some redness and swelling may occur at the injection sites, but it usually subsides within minutes. Very rarely, patients may experience minor bruising.

Results last around 3-6 months, depending on the location of the treatment, your muscle activity and your body’s individual response.

Anti-wrinkle injections are very common, low risk procedures. Headache, minor bruising or swelling at the injection site are the most common but still rare side effects. As with any treatment, there are always risks which your nurse injector will walk you through prior to treatment.
